You saw some great sculptures, including the garden clock. Is the old VW a sculpture? Grin. And I think I have one of your cookbooks...the Lemoncello and... with the title in German and the fact I couldn't quite read the author's name...but I think I have that book too. I love cookbooks. Do you? I hope you have a super Friday and weekend ahead. hugs-Erika
AntwortenLöschenIn fact, I’ve been collecting cookery and baking books for decades.
LöschenAmong them is *Limoncello and Lavender Water: The Forgotten Treasures of Italian Cuisine* by Tessa Kiros, which features some wonderful photographs.
Thank you for sharing your nice comment.
Heidrun, you found some wonderful public art. I love the vintage orange-and-white BMW Isetta, I remember seeing one years ago. Like you, I'm looking forward to exciting encounters this week too! Take care and be well.
AntwortenLöschenThe Isetta brings rememberings to myself. I could drive as a child with my father in this car...
Lieben Gruss Elke

AntwortenLöschenWhat a great trip you had! I had fun looking at your wonderful photos and the scenes they captured!
AntwortenLöschenWelcome!
LöschenThe park photos are so pretty! It looks like you had a lovely time. I don't love the time change but can adapt and adjust. But gosh I really do miss the sunlight so much on these shorter winter feeling days.
AntwortenLöschenOMGosh Heidrun. What an absolutely wonderful place with all of the public art. It's very beautiful there and a place that looks quite peaceful. You really captured the atmosphere of the fog in that photograph. It is just stunning. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a lovely weekend.
AntwortenLöschenBeautiful photos of this magnificent place, Heidrun! Looks very tranquil, which I love! Thank you so much for sharing this lovely tour.
AntwortenLöschenStunning photos. It looks like a fun trail. Happy FFO.
AntwortenLöschenWonderful outing and photos. I love all the sculptures. I especially like the last shot of your husband with the sculpture, they look alike. The pigeon like gathering on the roof. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Thank you in the name of my husband. And your nice comment too.
LöschenNice getaway place that you have there.
AntwortenLöschenEnjoying your post. Awesome pics.Sculpture look great. Greetings.
AntwortenLöschenYou always make the best of your trips and have so many fun photos to share! Happy weekend sweet lady, Diane
A wonderful mix of literature, art, and relaxing days. It sounds like a peaceful way to transition into November!
AntwortenLöschenLovely photos. Bad Gögging looks so inviting, and I enjoyed following your walks and discovering a little of the area's Roman history.
Traude

You always visit such beautiful places. Peace!
AntwortenLöschenLove that misty image right near the end of this post. We are in late spring / early summer here and misty mornings are a few months in the past, and more months into the furture!
AntwortenLöschenCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Loved the evening sun photo the best!
AntwortenLöschenHello, Heidrun. It's great you were able to get away again to thsi lovely place and enjoy yourselves. Italian cooking is very much to our taste here in Melbourne and we are lucky to have some fantastic Italian restaurants that can stand amongst the best restaurants in Italy. Daylight saving is very much the flavour of the months here in Australia and I can sympathise with your husband as it is my task to change the time on all of the clocks in the house... In terms of colour theory and favourite colours, blue is my favourite colour, the darker and the more intense the better. You may know of Alexander Scriabin who developed a complex system associating musical keys with specific colors, primarily documented in his 1910 work "Prometheus: The Poem of Fire". While often attributed to synesthesia, his system is a structured circle of fifths based on theosophy and Newton’s optics, where C major is red, G is orange, D is yellow, A is green, E is sky blue, B is blue, and F# is bright blue or violet. Thank you for hosting.
AntwortenLöschenSuch a fun getaway. Love the hotel and love Mother Nature. Beautiful shots.
AntwortenLöschenThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. ♥
I'm okay with the time change. But the switch is kind of silly. I'm just happy to be in a different time zone in Florida!
AntwortenLöschenYes we had the time change here in October but it was the opposite to yours, we are halfway through Spring now though, have a nice week.
AntwortenLöschenThank you for sharing your opinion.
LöschenHappy Monday Heidrun, another totally terrific post! So many gorgeous pics, the setting sun is our fav along with the little orange and white car! Wishing mew a purrfect week! 😻🐾🎈🐾😻
