Lieben Gruss Elke
Using your price of a cappuccino in Munich is a good way to see how what we can buy for the same thing across the glove. In Munich, you say it is €3.80 which is roughly R76. In Paris we were paying €3.50 which is more or less what we paid across France, depending on how rural we were. In South Africa we pay about R40 so it is really cheap to have a coffee here if you are spending in Euros :)
AntwortenLöschenI'm glad you had a restful getaway -- much needed in busy times! And thanks for posting the poem "Eyes in the Big City" by Kurt Tucholsky -- a perfect description of our fleeting connections with other people in modern society.
AntwortenLöschenMinced meat in betel leaves sounds so good, and nice that you found it right across the street instead of the expensive hotel dinner. But 9.50 euro for a coffee at the Wiesn, at that price I'd just order the beer. Skipping the Audi museum to rest by the pool sounds like the right choice to me.
AntwortenLöschenWhat a great getaway. I like to stay at nice places when we travel even though sometimes we feel like we are getting robbed but that is the way things are these days.
It looks like a fun trip, and nice that it was spontaneous. Those are the best kind!
AntwortenLöschenHappy Fall!
AntwortenLöschenOhhh this is a fabulous post. A lovely retreat for sure. That Vietnamese restaurant looks like a good place to eat. This is a wonderful poem by by Kurt Tucholsky. So many wonderful photos. I do like all of the mushrooms and one dose need to be careful with them. European Day of Languages sounds like a real treat. Such a wonderful post. Thank you for sharing it with FFO and have a lovely weekend.
AntwortenLöschenA little get away is fun, isn't it? Sometimes more fun than a big trip because you don't need to do so much planning and you don't need to worry about planes or trains or buses. Happy October to you, and thanks for sharing. Happy weekend.
AntwortenLöschenThe mural and food looked might good to me! Thanks for hosting Heidrun.
AntwortenLöschenIch bin mir da etwas uneins, liebe Heidrun.
Your food looks delicious. Happy slightly belated FFO .
AntwortenLöschenHello Heidrun,
AntwortenLöschenYour trip looks and sounds delightful. The hotel looks pretty, I like the decor. The food looks delicious.
I just like my coffee black, I do not buy any special drinks. They would be a treat though. The forest images are lovely! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Hi Heidrun! Another amazing adventure, the food looked delicious!!! And OMG the price of the coffee, NO WAY, that is so expensive, we'd take our flask with us!!! LOL LOL Happy Caturday, and thanks for hosting! 🐾😻🐾😻🐾
